CASE FILE: SWIFT, LEILA. STATUS: TOP SECRET.
Leila Swift has kept a lot of secrets. This is the biggest.
Her family had very little: a tiny stone house on a Portuguese mountain, sixty steps up from the river, and not much else. Then, one wet morning, her dad found three euros in a puddle by a rock. Three euros that bought a lottery ticket.
Now they have millions, and nobody can ever find out.
But money has a way of being noticed. From a mountain in Portugal to a villa in Sicily, a mafia don and the bright lights of Hollywood, Leila must keep her family's secret, and her family safe.
How much of it is true? The author isn't telling.
Out now in paperback from Lulu. Coming to Amazon and other online bookshops in the next few weeks.
