What is the Quest?
The Young Storyteller Quest is a competition for creative children.
One winner will:

Have their story completed in collaboration with The Beekeeper Writer.

See their story professionally illustrated and published as a printed and digital book.

You’ll be credited as the Young Storyteller, with your picture proudly on the back cover.

Recieve your book completed.

All proceeds from The Young Storyteller Quest will be donated to a charity of the winner’s choice.
Every participant will receive:

An invitation to join the Lightkeepers’ Circle (exclusive updates, creative tips, and early book news).

Enter Your Story Extract
We’re looking for 200–1,000 words of your best ideas.
When you write, try to include:

Characters with personality details. Who are they? What makes them unique?

Where & when. Set the scene. Is it in a forest, another world, or right now in your town?

Who & what. Who is in the story, and what is happening to them?

The ending (maybe!) Do you already know how it finishes, or do you want to leave it as a cliffhanger or to us? All choices are welcome!

About The Beekeeper Writer
The Beekeeper Writer is a creative family project blending storytelling, imagination, and nature. Known for the eco-conscious Leila’s Light series, the brand invites the next generation of storytellers to shine.
(Marc and his daughter Leila will be filmed developing your story along the way. Short behind the scenes videos will be shared so you can watch your story come to life step by step. If agreed, Leila and the winner can also be filmed creating the story together over Zoom calls.)
